How to get more social media followers

How to get more social media followers

The more people that see and interact with your business, the more likely it is they will be converted into customers which means greater profit. Consider the following tips for gaining more followers on social media:

Research who you should be following
Smart business profiles follow a range of people and other businesses which are influential in the same or similar industry with a large following and that share common beliefs of values. Research who is a strong influence in your relevant industry and ensure you are following them; they can provide you with industry information, and you can learn from what they do.

Quality over quantity
Posting regularly and maintaining one’s presence on social media is important, but in saying this, the content you are posting must be relevant and of a high quality. To share posts that engage your followers and give you opportunities to gain more followers, consider asking questions to your followers, offering promotions for an action in return, providing new information they can’t get elsewhere etc.

Using hashtags is a surefire way to gain followers. Using the right hashtags is a powerful way to get your content and your social media profiles seen by a greater range of people, which is positive because the more people engaging with your business online increases the likelihood of greater profit.

Use influencers
Influencers are just that; they are employed by major (and smaller) companies to influence social media users. Influencers are people with upwards of 1000s of followers who post content of specific products with the goal of getting their followers to buy that product. The business that owns that product pays them for this marketing in one way or another, either through money or free services. Consider working with one or more influencers to grow your business.
